Cayuga ISD will receive competitive sealed proposals for the Addition and Renovation of Ag
Building until 2:00 pm on March 10, 2025 at Cayuga ISD Administrative Offices.

 

The bids shall be addressed to Dr. Joe Satterwhite, Superintendent at 17750 N. US Hwy 287, Tennessee Colony, Texas. Sealed bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after that time and date will not be accepted.
 

Drawings and Specifications may be provided electronically by email request to Leslie Thompson
at lkt_tag@yahoo.com or by download at the District’s website: www.cayugaisd.com.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on February 17, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Administrative Offices 17750 N. US
Hwy 287, Tennessee Colony, Texas.


A Bid Security in the amount of (5%) percent of the bid must accompany each proposal in
accordance with the Instructions to the Vendors.


The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all Bids. Cayuga ISD reserves the right to separate or eliminate any item(s) it deems necessary to accommodate
budgetary and/or operational requirement. Cayuga ISD also reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or parts of the proposals, and waiver all formalities, and to award this proposal in the best interests of the district. Cayuga ISD also reserves the right to award other than the lowest proposal under statutory mandate, Public Education Code.

What is the 2024 Bond?

Proposition A

 

The issuance of $6,000,000 of bonds for the construction, acquisition, rehabilitation, renovation, expansion and equipment of school buildings (with priority given to Agricultural Science Career and Technology Education Facilities, additional campus parking areas and electrical system infrastructure upgrades).
 

Proposition B

 

The issuance of $6,000,000 of bonds for the demolition/relocation of the district's baseball and softball complex to create sufficient space for a potential future expansion of the district's school buildings. An expansion of existing parking areas and a band practice area, and the construction and equipment of a replacement baseball and softball complex with additional parking areas.

Senate Bill 902: (Effective Date of September 1, 2019)

Early Voting Rosters: Amended Section 87.121 of the Code. Requires that information on the roster for a person who votes an early voting ballot by personal appearance must be made available for public inspection not later than 11 a.m. on the day after the date the information is entered on the roster. Information on the roster for a person who votes an early voting ballot by mail must be made available for public inspection not later than 11 a.m. on the day following the day the early voting clerk receives a ballot voted by mail. Please note, each roster must be updated daily. In a primary election or the general election for state and county officers, the county elections officer must submit to the Secretary of State for posting on the Secretary of State’s internet website, in a downloadable format, certain information from the early voting rosters described by Sections 87.121(g) and (h) of the Code.
